I have a feeling were not in Cali anymore

Last week, I went to a dance conference in Texas! Not the most ideal place but it was set up so pretty and I absolutely loved performing on this giant stage for people all around the US. I'm going to take you through some of our events from classes to evening shows and themed nights!

The first night, we got dressed up and headed to the theater to watch a show as we had no classes that day. Some of the pieces were long and boring, but there were so many that were super beautifully choreographed and inspiring. I wore a black dress with white heels, all from princess polly, large gold hoop earrings and my hair up. This is a selfie from before the show started with my best friend McKenzie!

This is a photo the photographer got of us backstage. It is always so much fun to be backstage during these huge events because it is so chaotic, and you get to meet so many new people. The vibe of being backstage is always the best because everyone is so over the top excited about their next pieces and are usually reviewing in the hallways!

This photo was from our favorite piece of the whole night, Yoruba. We had been rehearsing this piece since September of last year, and it was such an honor to perform it as it came from an amazing choreographer Autumn Eckman, who chose to work with us. This piece had been previously done by State Street Ballet, our professional company.

Last but not least, we had a decades party. We know every other company would do something boring like the flappers or hippies, but we chose to do the 2000s! I wore a juicy couture jacket with flare leggings and vintage prada glasses from 2004! Overall this week was so fun, and I would highly recommend coming to one of our professional company's - State Street Ballet’s shows! The link is listed on the link page so you can go check it out!

Live everyday like it's your birthday

Me and my friends Ava and McKenzie went to West Hollywood/Melrose for my 16th birthday party. I can't wait to tell you all about it and give you inspo for your next birthday or even girls trip!

We got 2 rooms at the London hotel and put our bags down, just to go out to Rodeo drive! It was decorated beautifully. Me and my friend Ava Benhayon had been wanting to go to the Fendi Skims pop-up which was so amazing! There was like a camera lightbox room in the back where we got to take photos and they made us a little video. We also got a gorgeous piece for my mom, and then I got a beautiful necklace as a birthday present!

After arriving back to the London, we got all dressed up and headed out to Catch LA which is this super cool seafood spot that is very hard to get reservations for. Luckily we found one only a week before! The mocktails were so delicious and the food was above all. I would definitely recommend you put this on your list of LA restaurants to go to!

When we got back, the room had been set up as a super fun gold, black, and white themed birthday party! We each got matching modal pajamas, face masks, and even sleep masks that were personalized with the Kardashians names on them just for fun. There was a huge box of goldfish and we had gotten some macaroons on rodeo. We blasted music and danced the whole night because no one was in the room next door to us! It was so surprising and definitely made the night so much more fun.

The morning after this, we drove over to The Ivy, restaurant in West Hollywood. I love the vibe of it as it's super underground and only the people who live in LA really know about it to be a super hot celeb spot. I used to live here and we would often go!

This trip was so much fun, and I could not have asked for anything different for my sweet 16! Make sure you take notes for your next birthday party!
